Dapper & Wise are arguably the friendliest coffee roasters in Portland, and possibly anywhere. Founded in 2013 by co-owners Evan Aldrete and Tyler Geel, their mission is refreshingly simple: source and roast the best coffees they can find, be very nice to everyone, and have fun while doing it. Their cafe is breezy and bright, their baristas are as eager to talk coffee as they are to brew it, and their roasting philosophy, thoughtful third-wave with a full spectrum of roast levels, makes specialty coffee genuinely accessible to everyone. As Evan puts it, they want to "put the fun back in cofunfee." We are here for it. In the cup, expect bright, flavorful, approachable coffees with a smile built right in.
From the Roaster
Our goal at Dapper & Wise is to source and roast the best coffees we can find, to keep finding new ways to be a better employer and coffee buyer, to consistently offer the tastiest coffees, to be at minimum very nice to everyone we speak with, to teach our friends and customers about coffee in a friendly and un-pretentious way, and to have fun while we are doing all of those things.
